La Femme au parasol · 撑阳伞的女人
Monet painted his wife Camille and their son Jean on a hill above Argenteuil on a breezy summer day. The low viewpoint puts the viewer in the grass, looking up into a sky that takes up most of the canvas.
Sold by the artist in 1875; passed through several French collections before entering the National Gallery of Art in 1983.
Reproduction print on cotton canvas. Not an original artwork, not a limited edition, and not signed. Colours may differ slightly from your screen.
