The eight large panels Monet worked on for the last decade of his life, installed in two oval rooms at the Orangerie according to his own instructions. They were conceived as a place to stand inside rather than a picture to look at.
Bequeathed by the artist to the French state in 1922 and installed at the Orangerie in 1927, the year after his death.
Reproduction print on cotton canvas. Not an original artwork, not a limited edition, and not signed. Colours may differ slightly from your screen.
